Hey there, and thanks so much for stopping by! I’m Melanie, a born-and-raised Texan who has called the Willis/Conroe area home my entire life, except for that one year in college when I lived in the dorms at Aggieland. WHOOP! I originally started as a Civil Engineering major at Texas A&M, but my heart pulled me in a different direction. Since A&M didn’t offer a photography degree, I transferred to SHSU. Go Bearkats! People always ask if I have kids, and while I don’t have any little humans, I do have a four-legged furbaby named Cookie. That shaggy dog has my heart.
Photography isn’t just what I do; it’s who I am. It’s my passion, my creative outlet, and the way I see the world. I didn’t literally grow up with a camera in my hands, but once I picked one up in high school, I never put it down. I love capturing moments, emotions, and stories through my lens, and I’m always up for a new challenge. So let’s make something amazing together. Howdy y’all! My name is Nick, and I’m Melanie’s associate photographer and Fiance. We are excited and looking forward to our own wedding in October 2017. Now I’m finally starting to understand all the stress our brides have to go through for their wedding day. But we are enjoying every minute of it. I may have been born in the small town of Seguin, TX, but have always had a love for travel and excitement. I’ve been all over the world, and can’t wait to explore new places. Anyone interested in a destination wedding photographer? ? After attending Texas A&M university, I became a firefighter before my heart found photography. I feel very blessed knowing that I’m able to do something that I truly love. Capturing moments and being able to turn them into meaningful and beautiful art is what drives me. Howdy y’all! I’m Nick—Melanie’s associate photographer, husband, and second set of eyes behind the camera. We tied the knot in October 2017, and after going through the wedding planning process ourselves, I have a whole new appreciation for what our brides go through. We loved every moment of our day, and now we use what we learned to help make our clients’ experiences as stress-free as possible.
